I couldn't see a way to combine these trails that made sense and it looked like it would definitely be longer than 3 1/2 miles.
Brissy Ridge loop was a very nice hike, but is at least a moderate difficulty level.

Hard, not easy. There’s some steepness that creeps up on you.

Not so much to see but a decent hike. Fire tower is pretty cool and there's a nice view on Brissy. For reference I give Table Rock a 5 star.

not much to the trail

Monday, May 09, 2016

Be aware. This trail may be "easy" but to get to it, you must go on a more difficult trail. Not really much to see. Just the fireplace remains from an old house with a history marker and short write-up.

Was expecting to see a tower. what you see is the remains of a burnt building structure. Super easy trail, but you do have to hike other trails to get to the fire tower trail.

The actual Firetower Trail itself is only .4 miles one way (per Park Trails map). However, since it is only accessible from the Sulphur Springs trail, you have to hike 1.4 miles on the Sulphur Springs trail to get to the Firetower Trail. The total hike to the Firetower at the end of the trail is 1.95 miles (per my GPS), for a 3.9 mile round-trip hike. Typical trail, nice shady canopy the entire way, but little-to-no scenery.

Fairly easy trail that has little elevation change. Dogs welcome and very well groomed for bike riding. Several great scenic views and a historic landmark of an old 1940's fire tower..
