Nice walk. Poorly marked trails. Not overly crowded.

Excellent place for a family with children. With covered pavillion, swings/playsets, paved trails it has enough variety for everyone. It also includes a non-paved more off best trail near the river. I don't consider this place great for hiking in a more traditional sense. I can't fathom why people complain about mud.. after days of rain. You need to try this park and see for yourself!

Always just a fun, quick, local adventure that let’s you get close to the river. The river is the main attraction so it’s best after a good rain like we’ve had all spring.

Very easy hike, more like just a hilly walk. Wide walking paths, several spots to see waterfalls and rushing water

A little muddy but a great walk through woods and riverbank.

Nice easy trail- recent heavy rains have the falls roaring. Some areas still a little muddy but a dry day or two should fix that. Lots of beachy areas along the river.

Was not impressed. The trail was confusing because it had mini trails coming off of it and you weren’t sure what direction to go because the main signs were missing “you are here” stickers so you weren’t sure where you were along the trail. The mud was pretty extreme over 65% of the trail. You could hear people from the nearby park the whole time, and the road, so it was not the “out in nature” feeling. The falls were beautiful but if you are going on the 2 mile trail it was disappointing.

Easy hike. Some paved parts nearest the waterfall. Shaded by trees. Some of the unpaved Trail has muddy areas from recent rains. Quiet areas along the river. Several benches along the trail is you need to rest.

Cedar Falls Park is a great place to bring your family for the day. It offers something for all ages and skill levels. There are 2 parking lots at Cedar Falls Park. The smaller one will put you closest to the water and the larger one will put you closest to the playground, field area, and restrooms. There are paved and dirt trails. All of which are under a canopy of trees. There are many spots where you can veer off the trail to access the water. The trails are well maintained and marked. A great place to come with your family, two or four-legged, or all by yourself.

A decent little easy park trail. The shoals after the dam were gushing pretty hard with all the recent rain. Always disappointing to see so much trash. Will be bringing a bag next time for sure.

Nice short, easy trail for all. The path is paved to the falls, making it accessible for all. The nature trail follows along the river. The falls are a nice addition to the trail.

Great trail! More of a walk than a hike, perfect for the dog!

11/3/19 - VERY short hike. Definitely a trail for those looking for something casual. Despite the brevity of the path however, the large river traveling along it was a pleasant sight, and once you arrive at the real attraction, you quickly find this location is a must for hikers of all skill levels. The falls are beautiful, and something you wouldn’t even remotely imagine to exist in the area, and the infographics along with the remains of the mill were fun to look at too. Would definitely recommend as a sightseeing spot for the family, but not as a actual hike.

beautiful hike, the map in the app has the three trails in the park as one complete trail. well worth doing all three as one hike.

Nice falls and easy walk- would recommend for families with young kids as much of the trail is paved or very flat and easy. Enjoyed reading the history of the cedar mills site. Otherwise not much of a hike for those looking for something more interesting.

great trail most of it was shaded plenty of benches for a quick rest many lookout points along the way maps along the way weren't much help because some jerk has peeled off the "you are here" markers the falls are beautiful and at the start of the trail and require no hiking to view

Its a pretty walk, but is in fact a walk through the park, not really a hike. Short Video of our visit: https://youtu.be/oWAFb_XmO8c
