Cedar Bluff Nature Trail is a 1.9 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Calhoun Falls, South Carolina that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, running, and camping and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
good trail for what it is! some places could definitely use some maintenance as several bridges have lost their rails. you get a couple views of the lake here and there, but it’s mostly a walk through the woods. well marked and easy to follow
the bridges need a lot of work. they are useable, but the handrails have fallen off on some of them
Ok trail through the woods. No real lake views as the trail is too far away. Well marked but does need maintenance.
We actually hiked the loop from the Campground loop 1 and forgot to turn on the recording until half way through. Hate when I do that... It was a really nice trail but steps do need work or removed. It is really 3 miles if you do the entire loop.
Trail was well marked. However the stairs were in bad shape with the rebar sticking out of the top, trails have started to go around the stairs, best avoid the stairs if possible.
Great scenic hike through cedar forests with views of the lake. very well maintained.
Just your average trail. No great views, well shaded, lots of little bridges. A little confusing, but well blazed.
I've been to this park many times to go swimming, walk the trail, grill, and play tennis. They have tennis courts there, shelters, and a really nice beach/swimming area. It is a great place to take the family. The trail is not long or very exciting, but it gets you outdoors and is nice and relaxing. I've never camped here, but the camp sites are in great spots on Lake Russel and the bathhouse are nice and clean. I love going to this park even if it is just for a few hours.
