Petroglyph Trail is a 3.2 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Reef Bay, Saint John. The trail is rated as difficult and primarily used for hiking.
Cool rum still ruins and Taino Indian petroglyphs are a must see. Easy downhill 2.4 mile trek but after all that seafood and rum in Cruz Bay the night before, you get to work it off coming from sea level on Reef Bay back up to the parking area on Highway 10.
it was worth the trip. Many ruins to see along the way.
This trail is a spur off the reef bay hike and is fairly easy. At the end of the path you come to a fresh water pool. In times of normal rainfall the waterfall will be flowing but when we were there there was no waterfall.
Carved into the rocks around the sides of the pool are pictures and symboles.
