Leinster Bay Trail is a 1.9 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Leinster Bay, Saint John that features a great forest setting and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and trail running and is accessible year-round.
Use this trail to get to fantastic snorkeling at Watermelon Bay.
Trail is more moderate if taken from Reef Bay trail.
Beach mildly Rocky but nice. Parking available if driving from Coral Bay. Few people.
Self-guided tour of historic ruins. Great history. Great views of BVI. Watch for hermit crabs crawling through the woods on way to ruins - they were everywhere the day we went.
This trail goes along the shore from the Annaberg historic site to Waterlemon Bay
This trail is on the east end of St. John. It is an easy walk mostly along a level beach. There are many ruins in the area that are very interesting. You also get many view of Tortola and other BVIs
We used this trail to get to Watermelon Bay so we could snorkel in the Bay and out to Watermelon Cay. The snorkeling was magnificent.
