Lovely trail. Lots of tree roots in the beginning. Easy hike. Loved that there was another trail located at the tip of the loop which added on another .6 miles with lovely views. I live in the area so I walked to the trail adding on a few more miles. Nice hike if you only have a little time. Trails are clearly marked.

Great easy hike. Perfect for my family, kids are 13 and 11 and our 2 dogs love this trail too. We did the extended loop, great place for the dogs to take a dip! The extended loop is just over 2 miles and takes about 45 minutes.

I wouldn't call this an "easy" trail. Not great for toddlers, and mine can hike. Lots of roots and elevations. Lots of dogs off the leash. One couple's dog followed us for a solid 10min before the owners appeared completely unimpressed their dog was so far away. My kids were worried the dog was lost. luckily, he wasn't aggressive. when I explained dogs had to be leashed, they basically laughed at us. That's pretty ridiculous.

Great easy loop. Mostly narrow and rocky with lots of roots, but otherwise comfortable. We added on the "Founders Loop". Completed in less than an hour and half with several stops for the dog to swim. Only passed one other family.

This is a great trail, especially for kids. Make sure to bring an extra pair of pants and socks so the kids can play in the river and pond!

I can't even fathom why this is considered an "easy" trail. it's uphill with tons of roots right from the beginning. It's a nice walk, but we brought our toddler and he tripped...a lot. people do not keep their dogs on leashes, and we had to find owners many times.

Wow! I was looking for an ‘easy’ trail today because of the heat - and I’m SO glad that I tried this gem! In the beginning there are some rolling hills that have lots of roots - may be considered ‘moderate’ by some - but smooth sailing otherwise! Trails are well - and beautifully- marked. Lots of shade!...which is just what I wanted. I recommend adding the Founders Loop if you have time. It is also well marked and offers nice views of the pond and patches/fields of ferns. Nobody else on the trail today (which was nice since hiking = my meditation. Definitely coming back.

Great for my 3 year old, basically flat option to shorten or lengthen a little, marked fairly well, blazes are spread apart but the trail is clear and well marked in questionable areas. Very limited view of the pond but still overall a good hike

One of our favorites. kids and dog enjoyed the well marked trail and beautiful spaces of "Endor". Good elevation changes at times, nice river w/bridge, but limited access to the pond.

Nice place for a quiet and pretty walk around part of Yawgoo pond and partly thru non dense forest. The 2 trails are well marked and the scenery will bring you back for another reflective walk.
