I don't know who came up with this trail, but it's a bit ridiculous. I'm stubborn though and tried to stay on course as often as possible. Always fun to hike in the snow. Watch out for a thick layer of ice under it though
It was difficult to locate many marked trails so having this app was a must. Not too many people on the road or paths, but damn if there weren't a few that made to attempt to cover their face when approaching or to divert their path to provide for any distance. We'll be back but wish people were a bit more respectful of the pandemic.
Pros: gorgeous day. Coolest hawk encounter of my life. Lots of fun stomping around. Cons: not a single marked trail. Gave up and just ran around and had fun.
Great spots for picnics. Nice boulders for climbing. Would have liked to see less garbage but not too bad considering the amount of people.
All kinds of options to add or shorten hike. Mixed woods and plenty of rocks. Lots of cross trails so app is needed unless just going to roam
