Upper Piney and Burnt Sawmill Road is a 3 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near West Greenwich, Rhode Island that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and mountain biking.

July 19, 2020Do you have to walk a half mile to get to the trail. There are a lot of pine trees in this trail. I didn’t like this trail because as I stated in other reviews I don’t like any trails we actually have to walk to get to the beginning of the trail
May 23, 2020Went by myself; kind of regret it. If something happened to you out there no one would know for days. It’s pretty deep woods. The trail is easy to follow but use the map or you will get lost for sure. Nothing too hard, just pretty remote. Use bug spray or be willing to run it.

May 18, 2020Great for a quick 3 mile hike through pine groves, waterfall and cemetery, lake for fishing and old foundations. At the trail head, The Trails need to be marked so you need your phone for trail map if not familiar with the area and easy to miss.

May 3, 2020I love this trail. Its easy to follow with this app. Its essentally a walk through a pine grove. Even after a wet spring, its fairly dry. The trails are wide enough, and you cant beat the clean smell of the pine trees.
March 26, 2020great way to spend time while the virus sweeps the country. easy to moderate hike with a few short hills. weather was mild and sunny around 50 degrees.
