HikingGreat!

One of our favorites nice pleasant terrain before heading to the old campsite and Penny Hill. It continues to Ben Utter if you want to extend the hike.

Nice trail! Wear your orange. Mostly on white trail but loop portion is on yellow. Wet in some areas

Perfect trail—easy hike but beautiful scenery, and a spooky abandoned summer camp at the end. Make sure you find the huge stone hearth and water tower that are still standing!

This is a fairly easy hike albeit a fairly long one at 7.5 mi with much of the trail covered in soft pine needles, good change of scenery though the length of the hike. Fyi, the trailhead is across the road from the parking lot.

Decent trail but overgrown in places. Lots of horse manure. Will give another try closer to the fall.

I didn’t follow this loop but don’t know how to save recordings without selecting a trail. Today was a rest day and I have an injured knee so Apollo and I were scouting some new trails to run in the future.

Exactly what you need for a relaxing scenic hike. Arriving at at the old CCC campground is a treat! Great remnants of old cabins. Beautiful pine forest setting

Great hike! Was for the most part void of people during the hike even for a warm and sunny Saturday! Really easy to follow trail. However, first half didn't quite match up with All Trails so I kept getting off trail notifications but no big deal. The camp is really the highlight. Definitely cool. Was a really easy hike, but mileage is off. We clocked in at at 7.5.

Great for a lengthy stroll, not too challenging but long enough to get some miles in. The old camp is pretty cool to check out. Reminds you of something out of a horror movie (in a fun way).

Very nice area. Covid friendly. Bad phone service so figure out where you’re going before you get there.

Easier hiking trail, but nice hike. Previously reported as not well marked, but recently trail markings have been updated and we had no issue finding our way. I would definitely go back!

Great place. My only issue is the trails are not well marked in some points. Even with map on here it was difficult to find trail at points.

You really have to pay attention to the trail markings as there is many ways you could go. Not a bad day hike took about 2 hours without stopping for long at the old shelters.
