Sakonnet River from Fogland Beach is a 10.5 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Tiverton, Rhode Island that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for sea kayaking and whitewater kayaking and is best used from April until October.

Be aware of weather wind and currents can be a little much, staying close to the coast in the morning can help to avoid the wind.

This is a very nice route for coastal kayaking.. I have traveled only a few miles of it's entire length. The conditions on the river can vary greatly and I suggest mornings that are not windy. It is good to be aware of the tides and currents as well. This can be a great trip even taken in small doses.
