Grass Pond Preserve Trail is a 1.1 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Carolina, Rhode Island that offers the chance to see wildlife. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for hiking, walking, trail running, and birding. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

A short loop trail through oak-white pine forest rising up to rocky outcrops. A short walking trail marked with yellow blazes loops through the northern portion of the preserve. The trailhead to the preserve begins at the preserve sign along an unpaved path located off Wilbur Hill Road. Follow this path then take a left onto the loop trail. There are other trails on the property, but these are unmarked and go beyond the preserve's boundaries. Access to Grass Pond itself and its wetlands is restricted due to the sensitivity of the animals, plants and natural communities.
This is an easy relaxing walk! Bring a book. Meditate. Or walk your dog. When you come to a wall with boards for bikes to cross TURN AROUND! IT'S the end and you must u turn to the left. 30 minute walk. Just a couple of small inclines.
