Definitely coming back it was a beautiful trail. Can’t beat the cliff side walk and the real foresty areas and the fact that it’s a big loop is really nice. Only real complaints is a lot of nats and a lot of horse shit on the trail but you’re able to walk around it.

Loved it. Kid friendly. Dog friendly. The trail runs through the elevated woods right along the water. You can also walk along the shore and watch the boats. Nice wide trails.

This is a really nice trail and it’s right by the water by the sailboat and really cute nature trail as well. However I am rating it only four stars because there is a ton of horse manure that needs to be cleaned up and you have to watch every step you take so that you don’t step in it

Great for trail running. Very well-maintained and easy to follow. You can take a number of different side paths down to the water if you'd like. Pet friendly!

Well shaded trails, routes along beach at lower tides, or up in the woods. Option for cement as well. I walk this everyday, great 4.5 mile loop that I do. Lots of waterview and access. Wide paths. Great for biking too. Bathrooms open during season. Only open sunrise to sunset. Farmers market here on Fridays during the season. Lots of parking and places to picnic. Can be a little muddy after a good rain but what woods aren’t. Happy trails!

There are a few trails you can hike at Goddard. Most are also shared by horses and always a lot of dogs, so be careful if you are running here. Since these are also bridle trails, most of the emerging roots are sprayed. In the summer, the area is filled with lady slippers and other forest flowers. You can choose to do a loop in the forest or you can go via the beach. This portion of the trail extends about 2 miles from the carousel to the dock parking lot and is gorgeous with the view of East Greenwich and the boats. Love these trails. Super super easy trail and good for all levels.

Nice trail system, easy to navigate, decent mileage. I would do this more often but there is simply way too much horse shit. So much so that in some places you cant step around it.

Trails are filled with horse poop! I ride here often but have never seen them this dirty. The other side of the gazebo area is much cleaner.

First to Review

January walk along Greenwich Bay, from boat ramp past public beach to east point and back. Well established trail favored by joggers, hikers, and dog walkers. Just under 4 miles--many additional trails if you want something longer. Numerous slighty frozen puddles today--ground frozen & some freezing rain last night.
