Very fun hike, though at the farthest point on of the red trail loop gets very close to gun range, dogs who get nervous around loud noises take note

Beautiful trail, little bridges and streams...saw some snakes, not many birds, wild rose scents the paths, nice and clear. lots of roots and rocks.

A compact hike that rewards in the back half when it connects with a beautiful little stream. Moderate traffic on the day we walked. Looped in an hour at a casual pace.

I would recommend this trail but I rate it as moderate,,, there are some very steep hills and stairs, and in places it’s very rooty and muddy. Very nice views of streams and the forest . It does back up to a gun club so don’t be startled if you hear gunshots.

Only explored briefly but it was much larger than I expected it to be. Nice trails and not too many people. I would go back!

One of my favorite trails. Great for pets although a little muddy in some spots. The views are great as well as all the streams along the trail! Trails are very easy to follow. Will definitely go back soon.

This is a great hike for all ages with some fun history to learn. Be aware of some muddy parts and be reassured many of the muddy parts have temporary bridges or branches to walk over. There is a brook you follow and some nice rock walls to look at.

Beautiful, wide trails for the most part. Some permanent planking, some logs placed to get over the mud. It’s been dry for several days, so there were just a few areas of black sucking mud. We eventually hiked the red trail, after starting the shorter green trail. The trails are so well marked, and obvious; it looks like some people have created their own perhaps connecting trails, but the marked trails are so obvious, you won’t get lost. I particularly liked the numbered Way marks, posted and on the map. If I could note “bugs” several times, I would, for mosquitos. Ticks, not so much. Several absolutely gorgeous spots, lookouts, small waterfalls. Lots of families were out, few dogs.
