Nice little loop. low impact hike.
good for a beginner
We hiked this trail in late October, but still enjoyed a beautiful foliage. We imagined this trail would be gorgeous in early spring and at peak leaf turning season.
The path is easy and relatively flat, although there are sections where you have to pay attention due to limbs and rocks. There is a lot of variation of foliage and scenery which kept it interesting and delightful. Would definitely do this again when where in the mood for a light afternoon walk.
Our bonus: when we arrived at the car, I almost missed that there was a frog hiding in the well of our rear tire! We scooched it along with a twig into safety. Check out the photo.
If you come for this walk, and still have the energy... Head from here to Fort Barton!
Clearly marked trails. Beautiful woods and water views
Great hike, amazing views; but lots of bugs! Bug repellent is a must!!
Lovely trail, make sure to have your hiking boots. Beautiful water views and an easy trail. Been here many times, lovely views and beautifully maintained grounds.
A gentle and varied path along the Sakonnet.
Beautiful water views; mainly wooded. Can be buggy and boggy. Waterproof boots helpful.
