Cumberland Monastery Trail is a 3.2 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Cumberland, Rhode Island that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Way, way too much dog poop, people with dogs need to respect the trails that others use! Other than all the feces the trails would have been really nice.
Lots of dog shit on the main trails. I would definitely recommend some kind of traction on your boots right now, pretty icy. I wore my yak trax, worked well. Still had a nice hike.
sheets of slushy ice with footprint craters. Trail blazes faded. otherwise scenic and peaceful.
