Stunning trail with beautiful sights at every turn! Started off very muddy and wet, don’t wear your nice sneakers! When we got onto the path that ran parallel to the ocean we were blown away by the foliage and the views! Loved it!

Great birding trail! It was a fairly calm drizzly day in the low 60s in late June. We saw a Great Egret, numerous Song Sparrows, Eastern Towhees, Red-winged blackbirds, a yellow warbler, Common Yellowthroat, barn swallows and possibly cliff swallows & northern rough wing swallows. Plenty of seagulls and cormorants, as well as ducks and two swans with cygnets on Sachem Pond.
