There was a glitch 4.5 miles into my ride. A large tree had fallen across the trail the night before. However, the men clearing the tree were FABULOUS! They stopped their work to lift my bike over the tree while I walked safely around. There was a beautiful blue heron fishing, which was an amazing thing to experience, as well as many red winged blackbirds.

For me this is one of the most beautiful trail, biking, fishing, water falls, wild life in the blackstone river. Going from town to town , seeing history site. Is an all day nature attraction.
Need to be ready with water and healthy snacks, is a very long trail.

We love this trail. Beautiful ride through wooded areas along the river, past two waterfalls and under large bridges. There are swans, red tail hawks and snakes. People are friendly and only one street crossing.

This is a great bike trail! We parked at the Woonsocket end (Davison Avenue parking lot). It was well marked and easy to find. The trail leads right out from the parking lot. Beautiful paved trail, fairly flat with resting spots and benches dispersed along the way. There was only one small road crossing until almost the very end. We turned around at the first major road crossing at which point we had traveled 9 miles. There were one or two spots where tree roots pushed the pavement up a little and it was slightly bumpy. We went on a Sunday morning so there was quite a bit of other "traffic" : other bikes, pedestrians and skaters. But even with that, the path is plenty wide enough to maneuver around others. Highly recommend!

nice paved bike path with some really nice waterfalls once you get into Lincoln. not many side trails to explore. it runs along side a nice wide section of the Blackstone river.
