A bit of a tricky stream crossing near the beginning, but was fun.

Pretty area with a brook and two ponds. Most of the property is old farmland or part of an old railroad line so it doesn't give you as secluded a feel as other trails in the area.

Got in 9 miles by doing all the loops and running all the spurs and taking the rail trail all the way out to the end along the river

Memorial Day Hike. Some mud in low spots. Not too too bad. Not buggy either.

Cool trail, old cemetery and foundations of buildings! Lots of more trails I wish this app showed curious where they go!

I liked this short trail. Some creeks to cross, some bridges, meadows, ponds, great scenery, some ups and downs, straight aways, and a surprise guest, a Beaver!

I usually don't leave reviews but I loved this trail! It's not crowded with too many people and very doable for kids. My 3 year old practically ran the whole trail! Bridges, pond and cemetery kept it interesting! I'm always looking for fun kid friendly trails that I can also enjoy so this was great!

Very nice hike, trail is worn and not marked. previous nights rain had streams at capacity and ponds were beautiful. Old cemetery in the middle the woods goes back through the 1800's.

Parents, kids (18&12) & dogs enjoyed this quick, easy trail with pretty views and an interesting historical cemetery. Could be muddy in spots during wetter conditions. A few bridges & creek crossings made extra fun for dogs & kids. Note: some places the online trail map seem to show two paths, up & back, are actually the same path. Also as there are no trail markers and many clear trails, it is easy to go off on an interesting trail that isn’t the one you planned on.

Nice wide trails but no trail markings. It was easy to go off on a side trail for some ways before realizing you're going the wrong way. recommend keeping the all trails ap on to keep you on track. Easy hike, no elevation, rocks or scrambles. Saw some birds and ducks, an old cemetery, good mix of scenery.

good trail but not marked at all. It’s doable though. The small bridge is very rickety so be careful. Have fun!

Nice trail for beginners and moderate hikers. Loved the surprise of finding a Civil War era family cemetary. Took some pics of gravestones then looked up info on the family there. Fascinating. Kind of hard to follow loop due to side trails, not marked well, but didn't get lost.

First to Review

This made a pleasant, easy cold-winter hike for January. The trail is unblazed, but Weber's Weekend Walks in Rhode Island sets out the path. It really would be great if we could have more of the rail bed available to us.
