My family rode part of this trail today. We started at the boat launch near the Boy Scout camp. We rode to the damn and then down to the water. The trail appeared to cross the water and go up the other side. We were with our 11 and 12 year olds and stopped to play in the water a bit and on the rocks at the base of the damn. We did not cross the stream and continue on the trail. It was a nice trail, mostly shaded. There were a few hills, nothing very steep. It was not very technical where we were. The path was wide most of the way. The trail from the top of the damn down to the stream was through tall grass. When we returned to the parking lot at the boat launch our children fished. They caught \blue gills and a couple of Perch. There is a small playground with swings and restrooms at the boat launch parking area.

come here often with my children. Easy hiking with a few challenging elements but nothing a motivated kid can't overcome. Very photogenic area in any weather. It's a great rainy day trail. Highly recommend. Posted a few pics from last visit, check'im out.
