Well, we went out this afternoon excited to hike this trail. We parked at Messiah College and drove the second car to the terminus at the park in Lisburn Village. We looked for a trail and found a short one that led near the creek but then uphill into town, paralleling Main St. ??? There was no discernible trail near the creek on either side. We walked on the street and, thanks to the map on the app, we found the creek again... but no trail on either side of the creek. We continued to walk 5.8 miles on roads, intersecting with the creek, but no trail. We finally connected with the Nature Trail at Messiah College and made our way back to the car. So. Is this just a kayaking trail for water only? We thought that there was a trail based on other reports like "great for kids and dogs." What did we miss? It was a great and sunny day and we had a good walk- just not along the Creek.
