Waterfalls along the trail and the grand vista at Worlds End makes this moderate hike memorable.

This park is truly beautiful. Lots of water features, interesting terrain. My only complaint is that some of these trails are very close to roads. While the roads may not be heavily trafficked, you still don’t feel like you are truly “in nature.” Nonetheless, I still really enjoyed hiking here and would definitely come back again in the summer when the trees are in full bloom. We started at the Worlds End trailhead next to the Park Office, took LT to Pioneer Road, Double Run Nature Trail, took the Link Trail southbound, up to the Loyalsock Canyon Vista where we stopped for lunch and then finished the LT loop back to the start.

Short steep climbs with level grades in between. We did this as an overnight with a side trip into Ketchum Run Gorge, which I highly recommend. There is a west facing campsite at the edge of the gorge that the trail passes by. If you want to be treated to an amazing sunset, camp here. You can also hike down into the gorge. There is a small waterfall there. Very nice outing.

Beautiful day, had the trail to myself all day. The rocks looked a little intimidating shortly after passing Double Run, but really turned out to be no big deal. The view at the top is worth it, and hiking down via the Loyalsock Link Trail was a perfect way to end the day.

Well marked trail. Little over crowded at times. Vista is nice but it was overcrowded because you can drive to it

Great PA woodland hike. Great overlook and lots of varied wildlife. Trail can be steep in places.

Pros:
A lot of marks of trails
No people on trails, I walked 12 miles from 10 am till 2pm : haven't seen anyone.
Good picnic area by parks office
Cons:
Paths are no good, sometimes totally messed, full of mud
Kinda same thing all the way: forest, forest , forest. Not many things to see.
PS must stopped at knob scenic area ( about 4 miles if you turn from worlds end drive- like 10-15 min driving from park office).
PS2 : check map before starting, AllTrails map are not accurate in names -real 'worlds end trail' are not like in app. Also no cellphone service at the park.

Did this in Oct of '15 on day 1 and Rickett's Glen the next day. Saw a Bobcat for the first time. As Always, I approached the animal to pet (please do not try this tho). Animal was very curious and aloud me to get within 8-10 feet from it. I posted some pics below. Didn't see a section to post the vid, when I was real close. Great place to hike. Found the cat on the road as we were leaving, just by 220. Have traveled all of USA to see specific animals. Took many many yrs to get these photos.

Love worlds end state park! The trail from double run to the top of the vista is very challenging but absolutely worth the hike for the view at the top. Have hiked here multiple times and will never tire of the view. Definitely wear appropriate footwear and be prepared to huff and puff if you're not in shape! Also, took my dogs and they loved the trail.

The trail is nice and typical of this part of Pennsylvanis woods, but the Forksville covered bridge made the trip special.
