Hemlock Loop is a 2.1 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Springville, Pennsylvania and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and nature trips and is best used from April until October.
My friend and I only did the small loop today with plans to go back another day for longer trails
saw a Palm Warbler on its way through migration, with in our first 20 mins on the swamp trail.
Hiking any of the trails at Woodbourne is worthwhile. It is the first preserve in Pennsylvania owned by The Nature Conservancy and has old growth trees that are definitely worth seeing.
I was there volunteering to mark the trails so the time spent there was not only hiking.
