Nice shady trail that takes you pretty deep into the park. A few steep portions but nice varied terrain overall, heads up there is a portion of this route that takes you on the side of a road. Not crowded at all around 11am on a Friday.

Definitely a great hike! Bring water and a snacks! It was confusing in some areas to follow the trail, in some locations it’s well marketed the others no so much. There is a lot of dead zones, i tried to follow the trail on alltrails and it froze (no service) Thankfully there is people on the trails who are nice and will help you out! Bring a battery pack to charge your phone!! Over all it was a perfect hike, not too hot and had a nice breeze going! I can’t wait to go back and explore more! Happy trails!

Great trail, but not well marked and confusing at times. Couldn’t find how to complete trail. Ended up on main trail. Very nice area though.

There were A LOT of trees down. The storm damage was so clear. But, still, it is a REALLY beautiful trail. I have 2 kids, ages 10 and 8, and I am so glad we decided to take this trail. We did the old farmstead loop and connected over to the Skippack trail and took this trail just to add some extra time. The woods are beautiful on this trail and even with the downed trees, it was lush, quiet and no trail traffic. It was definitely a nice change from walking the Skippack trail. Like I stated before, a lot of trees are down but my extremely active older children really enjoyed the adventure of going over and under all the tree stumps. It was quite an adventure and, despite the storm damage, a really memorable.5 mile addition to our hike. Will probably take this trail every time through the hike. We take the old farmstead loop and connect to the Skippack trail, side track to the mill race trail and connect back to Skippack trail. We then walk to the bridge l, skip rocks for a bit, and then walk the narrow path that goes along the River. It is beautiful walk.

After summit Avenue the all trails map and the yellow trail aren't in agreement. View my recording to see what I'm talking about... Other than that, this is a beautiful trail.

I loved this trail. What I didn’t like was coming back to the parking lot and finding out my car had been broken into. Please be careful and don’t leave valuables in your vehicles.

Beautiful trail. No cell coverage in the part I covered. I should have planned better on that part but a beautiful trail and the covered bridge is a beautiful historical sight.

Should be marked closed. The last half of the “yellow trail” was complete unnavigable with large trees and debris covering the trail and it looks like it has been that way for a while. Not sure how previous people completed. Had to cut it short and walk back on the gravel walking trail.
