Wissahickon Bikeway is a 2.6 mile out and back trail located near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that features a great forest setting. The trail is rated as moderate and offers a number of activity options.
A little snowy and slippery especially on the hikes above the bike way . I would recommend shoes with good tread or like crampons
Very muddy, but good variety of terrain. Love all the bridges, and the creek, of course.
Trail was great! We missed the loop part but the water near the trail was awesome.
The trail is an easy one, not rugged or particularly challenging. That is, not until you venture past Manayunk toward Lincoln Drive and The Forbidden Trail does the terrain shift from a paved surface to sodden earth and wooden bridges.
