I would highly recommend this trail. Be sure to use the gps. The trails and the map differ some. Over a great hike.

Nice easy trail. Not too crowded. It will be well shaded in the summer.

love these trails when we have it to ourselves on a gloomy, rainy day. i don't mind it but it is pretty muddy in some spots and rocky throughout. slippery if it's been raining. mushrooms aren't out yet.

Very pretty trail. A trail you can go anytime of year and with anyone. Only down side i would say is there was a lot of gunfire near by, which is fine but if you’re trying to go somewhere completely peaceful maybe try another trail.

Pleasant and easy trail throughout the woods. Most of the trail (Blue blazed) is pretty simple and only slightly rocky. As others have mentioned, the Orange blazed trail which leads down the mountain toward Money Rocks Cockscomb trail gets more narrow and rocky (very loose rocks at that). No special sights really except a decent view at the overlook, but you need to take the short White trail at the northern end of the loop to get there (not highlighted as part of this trail). Had started from Money Rocks park and ended up running most of this loop to get back in time. There seemed to be additional unblazed interconnecting trails which would provide some alternate looping routes.

In addition to green, brown and white trail, we did the orange trail. I strongly suggest you NOT do the orange trail. In the vicinity of the intersection of the orange and brown trails they are both very steep and covered with loose rocks in places. I consider it treacherous.

Very good, quiet forest trail. Mostly easy except it is very rocky in places. Wear sturdy shoes. Take the diversion to the overlook which is a pretty view of the farms below.

nice hike easy and a little rocky in some areas ankle twisters if you don't watch your step nice area did all but the orange trail, caught in nice downpour felt good, I'd go back good jaunt for after work and unwind. buggy bring spray or get a thermacell they work great. muddy in some places oh well.

Nice tree covered trail. Rocky in spots; it seemed more “moderate” in those parts. But generally an “easy” trail. It’s well marked, and you have to do the branch to the overlook. There are no markings at the parking area, but the map location is spot on. There is plenty of space on the side of the road to park safely. If you plan right, you can stop at Shady Maple afterwards!

It’s a fairly short trail, and great for families or anyone new to hiking. It’s covered in wood chips, so definitely nothing “rugged”. It’s lovely while the trees are bare but I imagine even better during spring and summer.
