Nice local trail. Went at 9am and saw 2 people the entire time. My only warning is there will come a point where you have to cross the water by walking over rocks. Some of them are really wiggly and some are slippery so be careful! Could easily lose your footing. I'm not sure if there's an alternate path or not.

Great hike. Enough incline and views to make it interesting. Same with the markers about steel making. I’ll be back

HikingMuddy

Be aware, there is no way to actually cross French Creek to the other side of the small loop without submerging your feet. There are some rocks piled up like a small dam, but not enough or large enough to step across. There is no part of this trail/stream that I would consider being a waterfall like the description mentions. Rest of the trail is very easy wide grassy path and pretty much flat (though some spots can get muddy...mostly the small loop on the west side). Nice starter trail or if just looking to do more a walk than hike. If it wasn't for the open field area toward the end and the stream, this probably would be a rather dull hike though given how straight it is.

Well kept tail. Easy to walk at any age. Waterfall is more like a babbling stream, not a waterfall.

Hubby needed a nice easy trail this weekend and his was perfect. Slight elevation gain / loss but relatively flat, well maintained, well marked trail. Definitely on my keep list and want to check out the other county park trails and St Peters Village too.

Took the Scouts for a late afternoon hike for our first Hiking Club event. The trail was easily-marked, easy to traverse, and a good starting distance for Scouts from Lion to Webelos.

I love this trail it's a great hike every season of the year. There is always something new to see and the water makes it a perfect hike.

It was really good. When you park at the entrance walk behind the sign. Walk a little ways be on the look to your left and you will see some bird houses. If you walk that path way you will end up at the waterfall. It is really beautiful and peaceful.
