Pretty nice for the location. Lovely fields of daffodils in April

Difficult to follow but a nice walk in woods with beautiful flowers with fragrant aromatics. Was not prepared for the cliffs!

HikingGreat!

It was a nice trail. Many different little trails intertwined. Kids did well and we saw some wildlife like turtles, snakes and birds. Definitely recommend.

Fun trail! Not super muddy and plants/trees are starting to bloom. Mostly stayed on yellow trail and came back partially on the blue route.

great bird watching, gigantic pieces of quartz and a scenic creek. Some options to take other trails back to main trail...about 4 miles. Recomend.

3 trailheads that avoid the quarantined campus trail: 1. Downstream of Yale Avenue Bridge. Near Morgan Circle (Harvard Avenue and Mt Holyoke Place); follow the trail, and turn right on the downhill path 3. Follow Michigan Avenue past Fairview, cross Black Rock Road in Swarthmorewood, oark near the ball field,, walk under the I-476 overpass, to dirt service road that follows Crum Creek.

A lot of trails throughout, be careful! You might wind up on another path. 13ft Tee Pee, split tree, mini cliff all well worth it! Plus the river and smaller streams!

2nd visit to Crum Woods and it still holds it’s charm. High point is checking out the Scott Amphitheater which is to the southeast from the trail head. It’s near the Bell Tower I believe. But the whole section of woods here is really beautiful. And not many out here so mum’s the word!

If you are from out of town it is very difficult to find a place to leave your car and feel certain it will be there when you get back ........ seems a shame that they don’t welcome out of towners !

It was beautiful but there’s so much glass here I was so afraid my dog would cut her pads.

Entered at the Swarthmore College trailhead. If there’s another way, I didn’t find it! The woods are pleasant enough and the trail is fairly well marked. Not a spectacular hike...didn’t find the waterfall. Next time.

WHO DO I CONTACT ABOUT SPOTTED LANTERN FLIES? On my walk yesterday I found a lot of them and took photos. I didn't know it was them until I looked them up at home.
