Very beautiful, easy trail. Crosses over Dowlin Forge Rd and Shamona Creek several times between Jones Pond/Dowlin Struble Park and Eagleview neighborhood. The stretch of road between the start of Pennypacker Rd up through Eagleview is very busy most times of the day (cars), but is still scenic enough to make up for the traffic. There is even a little bit of history at the start near the Struble Trail (historic grist mill). Be warned wireless signal is very weak to non-existent for area around Jones Pond parking lot (at least for AT&T).

Great trail! It’s wooded, paved, and passes numerous parks and beautiful homes. This trail begins at the midpoint of the Struble Trail and port-a-potties are located in Dowlin Struble and Shamona Parks. The trail ends in Eagleview, a great housing and townhouse development akin to Celebration Florida.

I like this trail because it connects Downingtown to Lionville. I also prefer the scenery but this is not a trail for speed because there are a few quick turns that can catch you off guard.
