A tough climb but worth the walk A tough hike up the mountain but the view is fantastic. When you get to the top follow the path down somewhat to a viewing area. This used to be alaunching point for gliders in the 70's.

they recently cut more of a road on this trail which makes it easier to climb
The trail seems to have been replaced this summer by a wide road, probably for construction equipment. The climb itself was easy enough, but going up such an enormous road instead of a trail was not so beautiful as it must have been earlier. Just be sure to continue on past the summit to a big scar on the other side, where there are many great views of the area.
