Did the 6.1 mile loop on the blue trail. Some up and down but not too challenging. Just enjoyable. Tree covered most of the trail. Lots of shade. Good ride all around!

Great loop trail, forgot to start recording for the first mile, it was starting to drizzle about 1.5 miles in, so we ran the last 3.5. Very well maintained gravel trail, could see how it would be great for cross country skiing. There was some fresh bear scat in the middle of trail at one point, so I do believe they are out there. We passed a few other runners and dog walkers, but not many people, whether it’s because it’s a Wednesday or the rain, idk. Well maintained bathrooms at the beach parking lot, could also see it being a good mountain bike easy spin. There was a downed tree across the path near the dam, but a kind DCNR man walking the trail, warned us of it, in the 1st mile or so. Enjoy!

It has some nice views of the lake at times and is an easy shaded trail. Wish you could see the lake more while walking.

Nice, easy hike around the pretty lake. Path is wide and evenly covered with pebbles for most of the loop. Very little change in elevation. Would also be great for cross-country skiing in the winter, then there would be no leaves on the trees and you'd have a better view of the lake, but still very pretty for a summer hike. Kind of buggy, but that's anywhere in the Poconos.

Very nice trail. Not difficult. Beautiful views of the lake and the trail is mostly shaded from the sun. If you go after heavy rains be sure to wear water proof shoes because much of the trail may be flooded and/or muddy. A large bear crossed the trail right in front of us but he kept on going.

Nice trail, easy and well marked. I did the blue trail 5 easy miles. Good for beginners or families. Pretty view of the lake and I was lucky enough to see 2 eagles soaring around.

Peaceful walk around the lake, first half is a little repetitive until you get to the area with the lake.

This trail is very nice, with some local wildlife and a scenic lake. The hike is relatively easy, with little to no incline and no debris along the trail. We saw two water snakes, a beautiful butterfly, and a deer. There is a picnic spot in the fourth mile that is nice to rest on. Overall, I would give this trail four stars, because the views aren’t as good as some better trails and remain constant for most of the hike.

This was an incredible hike (blue square). Lots of nice nature to see (trouts, newts, tadpoles) and all just off the trail too. Beyond well marked, excessive almost, but no way to get lost. Family friendly with minimal elevation and varied enough environment to excite for the full loop. Great shade too for sunny days! Went with our full extended family of 12 (kids age 6-9). We will be back to explore other colors and extend too!

Had a Christmas Eve walk around the lake- icy mostly at the beginning and end of the trail near the parking lots so my first and last miles were slow, through the woods the trail is snowy but totally manageable. I was in my trail runners and was just fine. It’s frozen under the snow but it’s crusty enough to give some traction.

Easy 5+ mile hike. Pond was frozen but the stream was flowing. Saw a nice 13 or 14 inch trout in the stream.

Definitely an easy 5+ mile trail run. Lots of shade and plenty of bugs! Run two loops for a challenging 10+ miler! Would recommend running in the early morning when it's cool, but, to each his own..

Ran 7-14-2019 at 7am. Sun just came up. In first 5min I ran up on a deer (Doe) 5ft from me, just looked at each other lol.Trail was easy to see had a scenic view of the lake for apx half the other half was through the woods. Flies were biting me the entire run made it hard to enjoy the run. Any run is worth doing once. Good Luck.
