The grounds of the mansion are pretty cool. Grounds are open dawn-dusk, but after 4:30pm, you have to park off-site. Pretty obvious small parking area by the Forest Service sign just before the gate.

Honestly, I thought this spot was really cute and tucked away. If you enjoy easy and pretty nature walks this would be a good one to check out. Easier for children and elderly who are just looking for a nice and easy/short outdoor stroll.

Worth the visit to Gray Towers. Gorgeous grounds. Trail was a nice little walk- ended up walking back up road to mansion.

This is a nice little walk around grey towers historic site. I'm giving it a 3 star just because the grounds are so lovely. Hardly a hike though.
