Nice casual stroll down a wide gravel road next to a wide river. This spot is particularly convenient for a short outing in inclement weather.

Nice level double track in the hallow next to a creek. Hard pack with rocks. There were not a whole lot of people out there. Nice run

The trail is beautiful and easy to find your way around. The main path is relatively wide as well, so it is easy to socially distance.

Excellent trail to introduce mountain biking to children. Wide trail. Mostly gravel and flat. There are a few areas where you could practice single track because there is grass and dirt.

Pleasant flat creek-side trail with plenty of fishermen doing their thing. Bring bug spray! We only did 2/3rds of the marked distance since we were running out of daylight, but maybe we can catch the rest from the other side off Route 150. Edit 7/21/20: finished the last mile starting from the Bellefonte side, which has a nice little park-like area with some benches, picnic tables, informational signposts, a bridge to the fish hatchery on the other side of the stream, and a quaint little house that they used to hold fishing, boating, and management classes in. I would actually suggest people start from this end of the trail, but in any case it's nice that you can choose. Plenty of mountain bikes passing by. My dog and I were there in the evening again, and the cool stream under the hot summer air created a temperature inversion that generated some really picturesque fog in the meter or two above Spring Creek. Beautiful!

Great place! Trail starts out very wide and then narrows down as it's less trafficked. Great out and back that is well maintained and almost completely flat. Lots of walkers, runners, and bikers.

Walking on a mainly gravel road, follows the creek and goes by the fish hatchery. Partly shaded and sunny. Not too buggy at all.

Easy trail, more walk than hike. It’s a gravel road. We did take a small trail off to the right and walked down by the creek, which was a nice little change. We saw 3 snakes on our journey as well. Also, I forgot to stop the recording before we headed home so only the first 3.2 miles are the actual “hike.” Lots of people on the trail I walking, biking, sitting along the creek, and fishing.
