Still snow and ice covered from last week’s storm, which made it slippery to walk in many sections and added some challenge despite fairly even terrain and not many hills.
We come here often because this trail combines a bunch of my dog’s favorite things: *access to the creek *tree cover *horses *horse poop (ew, I know) It also has lots of route options, so if you’re looking to avoid people, there are plenty of ways to weave your way around. Overall it is a very easy walk through the woods. No big hills. No crazy terrain. Just a few gentle miles.
Great we went in the later afternoon and there was very little people there.
Nice, quaint, big open trail with moderately dense forest. Lots of horse maneur, FYI.
Super easy trail. Great for families and kids. Lots of well marked trails you can mix and match to make it longer or shorter. Bring the bug spray.
Very easy trail. Mostly wide gravel path, with some dirt and grassy areas. I went off-course a bit onto the red-green trails so I could walk closer to the water with my dog. Very easy to follow with the map! Not a lot of hills or elevation and not very rocky. Definitely dog and family friendly. Lots of bikers.
Great family trail. Monday mid day not busy. Passed only 2 bikes, 2 horses 1 man walking. Stroller friendly path all around. Well marked paths. This app made it easy to make an adjustment to the length of our route.
Great trail... gravel path, a little rocky in a few places but still stroller compatible, nice walk. Saw a few bikes and horses along the way too. Lots of wild flowers lining the path.
We took part of the red/green trail and part of sober’s run I believe. Very nice hike! There are two very nice bridges to get over the creek.
Nice low traffic trail for a quick afternoon walk. leaves are starting to change a little and fall and it added a nice atmosphere.
This is a very easy trail to walk. Gravel-covered and level. Perfect for an easy stroll with kids or dogs. Heavily used by horses. Also came across a few other dogs.
East to get to. Plenty of trails. Easy walking. If your looking for a place to have a nice stroll or ride your horse. This is it. If you need to ride your mountain bike go ahead. If you want views and a feeling of alone forget it. Not once no matter how deep I got into the trails could I not hear a car or people talking or yelling.
