Very confusing trail. Not marked until u are inside the woods. Even with gps hard to locate. Otherwise nice easy trail. Very narrow in some spots

Great hike with a few fun geocaches. Did it with my 4.5yr and had a blast.

Easy beautiful walk through the woods. Can be a bit muddy. We walked in from the Abington trail side and got rewarded with the dam and falls at the halfway point. Definitely do agin!

i walked around the one half of the lake...very muddy and watery at times so bring waterproof boots for sure. easy to follow trails and it really helps using this app to guide you.

This is one of my favorite places to go for a quick hike close to home. Highly recommend, and suitable for the whole family.

Avid hiker from San Diego. I would agree with below reviews that the trails are not very well marked. Difficult to find the trail head but from the South Shore parking lot as you face the women’s restroom the trail head is on the left. We did the Snowflake trail up to the dam, walked up the hill, took Lake View Drive to the 407, made a right, then back to the South Shore parking lot. Easy walking with some uneven surfaces with rocks and tree roots. 3.7 miles the way we went.

Not super scenic, but a nice afternoon hike. Very quiet this time of year (12/26). Some sections were seriously muddy, but all in all, it is nice and not too difficult. Just enough challenge to keep it interesting.

Not moderate difficulty but not really a scenic trail. Good workout and good for running too.

nice trail especially if you park by the dam and walk across the bridge to access it. not well marked but easy enough to navigate if you grab a park map. this trail loop is within the Lackawanna state park.

Snowflake is good for beginners. Frost Hollow is slightly more challenging, but both are nice trails to hike!

Easy hike, clear path in woods along lake. Trail head for loop taken from waterfalls/bridge using orange marker which led to Frost Hollow Trail. Trails marked well. Great for mountain biking as well.
