Nice walk with a few spots of mud today. Clear view of the lake. Spotted some deer and a few birds I’d never seen before. I will return again.

Hike is mostly wooded with only one significant uphill bit at the beginning. There are lots of places for the kids to climb rocks and get near the water. It is stated to be 2.5 miles but closer to 3.0 miles. Worth’s hike if you are in the area.

Beautiful hike thru woods up hill n down along Walenpaupack Lake Trail. Came upon a rock wall that meandered thru the woods. Very impressive. Nice slight breeze kept bugs down. Took a break at a beach area of rocks where four ducks visited us.

A lot of human activities in the lake which makes it not nature.

Beautiful hike. A little tough at first for a sea level chick (I’m visiting from Florida) but overall a lovely hike. I love that there was access to your beautiful rocky shores throughout - great big boulders and tiny pebbles. If you’ve never been, start from the right side of the parking lot for faster lake access.

Hiked the trail Friday June 28th. Began at the path t j.g at went up hill and found it to be moderately difficult with the many rocks along the path. Rocks made hiking difficult because one had to watch the trail (so you would not slip) instead of enjoying the scenery. Also, very few trail markers and trail narrow. Most probably, I won't do it again. Jim R

Nice hike with 2 dogs. Wish I had better waterproof shoes bc areas were pretty washed out and muddy. Agree that trail markings were little lacking but that added to the adventure.
