A beautiful walk along a stream in a rhodedendron forest This is a personal favorite, you will walk along a stream through a beautiful forest then towards the end enter some rocky areas. The Hickory Run State Park has a National Natural Landmark in the boulder field and there are some Geocaches in the park

I loved hiking this trail. It is beautiful with a lot of pretty water scenes including creeks, waterfalls, and dams. The terrain was rocky but not too bad. It was a nice mix of flat and uphill/downhill. Great for pictures!

Beautiful short distance hike. It was a little busy, but that is to be expected on a short trail with so much to see. For this reason I'd recommend trying to go early in the day, or maybe a weekday. A late Sat morning had many, by lunch time it was getting crowded.

Trail has amazing views, but is not good for dogs. The pathways are narrow so if other people are coming there is really no room to go off to the side. Also, some of the rocks are slippery and loose so you have to watch your footing and with a dog it is a lot harder to do so. In conclusion would go again without the dogs and more ankle support

LOTS OF WATER FEATURES, great fun. Expect it to be a little muddy but nothing too extreme. Pretty easy trail with stunning waterfalls!

Really enjoyed this hike. It takes place alongside stream. Fairly easy. A few waterfalls a cairn garden. Quick hike. Would do it again when I have time to do the extended hike.

Very scenic and pretty trail. Narrow path with a fair amount of traffic you will come in proximity with on a regular basis. Leafy with interesting rock features along the way with some light clambering.

Beautiful trail, but way too many people today. Most people not maintaining social distance, and at times the route is quite narrow with no way to avoid them on your own

Even better after a hard rain!

It was a very nice walk. Even in the rain the canopy of trees kept us from getting soaked plus lots to see .

The trail provides you with plenty of beautiful scenery and moving water. Just about ten minutes in, you come across a decently sized waterfall. The trail can be a bit tricky at times due to rocks and tree roots. You wouldn’t want to fall due to jagged rocks in the area, be careful with children. Overall, if you fancy yourself a moderately difficult hike with beautiful scenery this trail is for you.

I really loved this trail. It was a nice hike along the stream. It was muddy in some spots- but that’s to be expected when the stream is less than a foot away from the trail in some parts. Overall super fun and great

I've done this trail many times. It's always lovely, and relaxing. Following the waterway, especially in a cool morning after the rain, is wonderful. Be warned, there is a squeeze or two, and the rocks can be rough on the knees. My only complaint, that the trail isn't longer.

Beautiful trail that follows river closely with several waterfalls. A lot of people, especially at the beginning of the trail. Justifies the moderate, quite rocky, but not super long or hard.

I wouldn’t per say this is “toddler friendly” it’s a great trail with a lot of beautiful scenery but a lot of slippery rocks and down trees and the rain leaves the trails over flowing with water making it difficult to get through. The markings on tbe tree can be a little tricky to follow if you don’t pay attention. I love that there are plenty of water falls and boulders along the way. Wish the trail was a little longer.

Very beautiful trail. Pretty rocky and lots of roots. Has a couple nice little waterfalls. Perfect for a little hike.

Lovely little trail alongside a beautiful creek. It can be a bit slippery - especially when walking on damp rocks. The dams make it less picturesque, but it's still nice. NOT recommended during social distancing since trail is narrow (and popular).

Great moderate trail. Plenty of variation to keep you going, from flat, to slightly rocky- beautiful waterfall maybe a 1/4 mile in. Nothing too hard- took my 3 month old GSP with me. Round trip back and forth from parking was almost 4 miles. Loved it and would go again.

This trail was absolutely beautiful. Especially in this day of the coronavirus it took me away like no other place could. The waterfalls were spectacular and the overhang made you feel so secluded even though you were so close to the road. Highly highly recommend
