Overall great trail. Lots of ups and downs, but also some nice peaceful straightaways. I went the day after a rain so it was a little muddy in some spots, and boots were essential. There were also a few spots where trees were down, but that just made things a little more interesting. There was a nice waterfall along the way too, with a picnic bench to rest at if you want (though don't make a detour when you see the waterfall sign, cause you actually pass right by it further in the loop). Some parts went along the creek and some over it. The only bad thing was that it was sometime tricky to find the connecting part of the trail loop when coming to an opening such as tennis courts or a pavilion. But would still hike it again.
