Loved this trail. Great leg workout. I recommend boots or shoes that can go through an inch or two of water as there are numerous off flows. This trail is good width and provides and excellent view while giving an amazing uphill experience.

If you're doing this purely to reach the rock view point, I don't recommend. This overlook is very easily accessible for all and as a result was cluttered with people sitting on lounge chairs and smoking cigarettes. So much for fresh air. Too busy and not serene.

Trail head is across the street from the ranger’s station across the busy street at the base of the bridge. It can be muddy at the beginning. The view is worth seeing! You can climb to the top of the fire tower which is very close to the scenic point.
