Very nice, but also very crowded. I’m not a big fan of that but it was still very nice.

Very easy path to a decent overlook. The better part is climbing the old fire tower for a great view of the surrounding forest. Definitely worth a quick stop if your in the area!

HikingGreat!

The trail, to say the least, was easy. lol its not hard at all. Pretty much anyone would be able to do this trail. Also, you can climb up to the top of the Fire Tower. When we went 10/1/20 there was about 10 people there.

Easy walk. The firetower area was over crowded with a line estimated to take over an hour wait mid-day. Go early.

Great hike but the trail head is miss leading. Where we ended on my recording is where the trail head should be marked. You start out on the Cook trail and connect to many other trails loop over to the fire tower and Seneca overlook. We had to take the Longfellow Trail and cut short through Forest Cathedral due to the bridge behind shelter one being closed. Great hike areas that are rocky and some with a lot of roots but beautiful and a great work out. We cut short on the path marked here and still ended up doing 13.3 miles

I saw some people hike in from 36. Don't do that. Just drive to the parking lot and it's a very short walk to the tower and seneca point. The hike in from 36 is not very. It's really just a walk on a substandard road. The very top of the tower is closed (due to repeated vandalism). Only 6 people allowed on tower at the same time. The view from the top is so-so. Much of the Seneca point view is blocked with trees. But climbing on the rocks is fun.

Kids had fun climbing rocks, climbing the tower. The view was a little obstructed but beautiful for the super short hike.

The view was obstructed, but climbing the 80 ft. fire tower was awesome. Very easy hike in the woods.
