Nice, easy trail. Not at all busy on a Sunday morning. It’s nice to hear the river and creek along the trail.

HikingGreat!

Beautiful trial along the Kiskiminetas River and Roaring Run. All flat and fine gravel path. Coolest part was the swinging bridge and Biddle Rock Furnace (thanks Scouts!). I recommend biking the first part, hiking or biking up the hill. Nice falls in places to do a little fishing too.

Beautiful riverside trail, easy level grade, great for casual biking for young children. I plan on exploring more next time.

Very scenic. The paths are wide and easy to traverse. There is a bathroom/port-o-potty at the beginning of the path.

Beautiful trail whether you begin in Apollo or at the Rock Furnace trail. If doing the regular bike trail be sure to take the side trail heading toward Rock Furnace. A beautiful stream and swinging bridge are worth the time!

Very easy out and back. Trail is well maintained and only saw a few other people. Water wasn't really flowing over the falls, but I could imagine they would be nice.

This is a great walk when you want to walk in the woods for an hour on a flat and wide trail. Not too many people here which was wonderful. The river is gorgeous and loved by the dogs and fisherman. If you bring a dog, pick up its poop or else dogs will be banned.

Super tranquil and beautiful walk next to the river. I took one of my dogs and we walked the main trail as well as some of the less traveled more wooden trails. Easy access to the river and there’s many benches along the trail to stop.

RunningGreat!

Absolute diamond in the rough! I was raised in Apollo so I park at the North Apollo access and run through downtown, then behind the Mosey (now named something else) and continue to the original Roaring Run trail head. Super flat (so flat it looks up hill both ways) so it is good for every skill level and even intervals. I run this every day I am back home to visit.

A hidden gem!! We loved this hike and will be back for a bike ride. The Kiskiminetas River is gorgeous! The trail is easy but probably rated as moderate because you can take offshoot trails to get closer to the stream that runs into the river. It’s a great place for beginners. Just beautiful.

The path shown is 5 miles in each direction. I would also rate this as easy. The entire path is gravel and barely any elevation

Great trail - took the long way and it was a easy hike. The water falls were awesome and nice and cold on a hot day.
