Very simple and easy but that’s a good thing for this type of trail. Riverview is a great park and also has some good trails.

Great trail, quiet, shady and open ( no under brush). We began by the park office and followed the trail encircling Riverview. Some nice rolling climbs nothing compared to LHHT but nice for families. It was easy to acquire 3.8 m. But very well could hike on several side loops to increase distance.

Good dog friendly trails all throughout the park. Nothing is marked but you can find your way as you can normally see the road/loop.

A little muddy but not bad. Trails need to be blazed better.

Lovely city park, though this trail doesn't necessarily do it justice. I recommend parking by the Snowflake Trailhead and catching up with this route via Wissahickon, which is what I did. That part of the park feels very rural and I didn't see anyone else. A few trails around the park were closed, but there are enough paths around that you can really just follow the general outline and blaze your own route.

This hike is kind of all over the map. Sometimes you’re on paved paths, sometimes you’re walking on streets, & sometimes you’re in the woods. A lot of this trail seems forced. Even when you’re on a diet path the streets are still visible, for the most part.

we took the playground trail. it is a really nice nature walk. several deer got super close to us on the walk too. only thing I dont like is the nature trails kept leading back to the road, which I didnt want my 3 year old on.

This trail is more like a walk through the woods than a hike...but what a walk it is. You are almost guaranteed to see deer, alot of deer! You may also come across horse back riders. I recomend this trail for families.

Great dog friendly park! There's even a fenced in dog area behind the Observatory on top of the hill. There's also a beautiful clearing down at the bottom of the park with a stone pavilion. Quality city park best for quick trips.

Nice, easy hike. Moderate inclines and declines and some areas to go off trail. Well kept in most areas, while others are slightly overgrown. Nothing that should stop anyone.

I love this park. Absolutely great terrain. Your choice of street or trail hiking. Great loops with plenty of hills. Head over to the archery trail for a nice little meadow and the remains of the old Nature Cabin which burned down in the 60's.
