Rattling Creek Trail is a 6.6 kilometer moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Lykens, Pennsylvania that features a great forest setting and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Nothing of interest really along this trail, but is easy with only some parts of rock. Most areas of this state forest have lots of mt laurel and moss to add some color even when the leaves are off the trees, but this trail was really only one where there was hardly any of that at all. The southern portion of Rattling Creek Trail probably is a little more scenic than what is highlighted here.
