The best parts of the trail were along the little creeks with snow capped trees and the dam. Parts of the trail were very icy and micro spikes would help a lot. Other parts were rocky and some of the rocks were covered by leaves. A few trees were down but none of them blocked the trail completely. The trail was sometimes hard to follow but the map helped a lot.

Trail was washed out in a lot of spots. Feet were soaked at end of trail. Nice day to be out though.

The park is awesome! This trail was basically a combination of a bunch of trails in the Park and very hard to follow. I had to have my phone out virtually the entire time which really took away from the experience. Instead of doing this trail, I would recommend getting a park map and just picking other trails to explore.

This loop had everything from multiple stream crossings, a waterfall (dam), forest, meadows, and a lake. Beautiful.

This is a really great series of trails combined!...but keep the All Trails app handy bc it’s easy to get off track. We would have been way off the loop if we didn’t have the All Trails app GPS on. About 6 miles, lots of scenic uphills for the first half, then flat and downhill for the second half. The forest scenery changes beautifully and several times as you continue the trails. Beautiful hike, highly recommend!

Great hike through the forest, along a creek for the first part. Falls are pretty. Make sure you grab a trail map or download the All Trails map. The All Trails map does go off route part way through the hike due to a new trail being built, but you end up back on the loop.

Different trails connect and AllTrails kept me on track, until my phone died. I used the paper map from the trailhead to get back to my car after veering off the trail. My 2 hour/6 mile hike ended up 4 hours/9 miles. Leaves are changing by the lake, but not much color in on the trail yet. Definitely a route I'll do again...with a back up battery. lol

Shorter than planned. Intersects with Martz trail and to make a true loop cuts to be 3 miles instead

Absolutely excellent set of trails. The pump house trail itself was relatively long and not full of sites, but connected to everywhere else in the park. Great for running or jogging

We loved this hike. Very rocky and steep terrain in places. Lots of shade and a variety of picturesque bridges/stream crossings. Only saw a handful of other hikers until close to the Jones Mill Run Dam, which is beautiful and worth stopping for.

very well maintained. all trails address could use an update. I reccomend navigating to the laurel hill state park beach on Google maps for parking. the trail could use some maps and more signs.
