Nice little trail- mostly flat. There is a small stream at the beginning, not too hard to cross, but no bridge, so your feet will get wet. The trail was wide and easy to navigate, but there were quite a few muddy and swampy spots from recent rains. It was easy enough to get around them and they were nothing that would spoil a hike. The falls are beautiful and worth the short walk to see them. I would hike here again and enjoy every second of it.

We took this easy 2 mile out and back hike to Pigeon Run Falls. The trail was very muddy due to the rain over the past week. You do have to cross a small stream at the beginning of the trail so DO expect to get your feet wet - waterproof boots are a good idea. If it has been dry, you won't get as wet. The falls were raging when we got there... and very beautiful. We saw a Blue-headed Vireo (bird) on the way out and a Smooth Green Snake on the way back. If you geocache, there is a geocache out near the falls. If you don't mind your kids a bit muddy, this would be a great hike for kids.

Trail is a little muddy but it’s a nice short flat mile walk to a beautiful waterfall. Scenery on the walk there isn’t anything special but it’s a good short hike to some great scenery at the end.

Trial was easy to find following the gps and previous reviews. I had 3 kids with me and they loved the trail and the waterfall. We will definitely walk this trail again.

As soon as you cross a small one car bridge the trail is on the left marked by a horse trail sign thing and there is a small parking spot on the right. The hike is very easy with some muddy areas that are pretty easy to get around. The best camping I found was above the water fall. Very beautiful! There are some creepy mountain folk in the area on the dirt roads.

Trail is unmarked horse trail. Straight across from parking area..... You walk through a small section of state game lands before being back in the ANF. Road getting to parking area can be rough would not recommend small cars.

Trail on left right after single lane car bridge. About a mile hike to the falls. Only complaint was how muddy the trail was at times due to horseback traffic. Gorgeous waterfall and camping area nearby

Great hike to a nice waterfall in a lesser traveled area of the Allegheny National Forest. Parking Lot is just passed the one lane bridge over spring creek on the left. Although there is no trailhead you easily follow the path/old logging road. There are different signs/map early on (for hikers and horses. Follow the flat path for about .8 miles which will end T the Falls. There is a picnic table by the Falls.

Path was well marked, but very wet hike. I believe the trail is an equestrian trail, so it is very soggy. Very beauitiufl view once you get there though!
