HikingGreat!

I loved that it is 20 min from home and there is such a variety of things to see. We walked through the woods and then the meadow. We walked by the creek and up a more challenging part of the trail. You can bike, jog, run or walk. I think it would be fun with kids. Pets are not allowed on the trails around the visitor center. There is also a blind so you can sit and watch the birds. It was a throughly enjoyable hike that we will do again. Make sure you get a map when you arrive because there are lots of trails but everything is very well marked!

There are so many pretty and fun off trails to explore in this park. I saw some peacocks which was exciting. There are some moments of steep incline but they are short. I enjoyed this little trail so close to town.

what are really cool place. got some nice water views got a paved wide trail good for riding jogging, walking, dog walking. fishing and there are some really fun mountain biking trails with some technical stuff, rolling hills. the day I was at pennypack we had storms the previous day and a lot of rain so there was plenty of mud and lots of puddles to contend with.

Easy hike but considering how central the location is the scenery is excellent. Lots of trails so it feels more secluded. Good amount of interesting birds and wildlife.

Beautiful trail. Don't get the "horse but no bikes" on trails though.

This was the worst trail I’ve done. It’s overgrown. The map is very inaccurate. Many trails are closed or unmarked on the map. Had to walk through such overgrown areas that we got ticks on us.

Perfect close to home hiking. If you want to get off the trail there are options. Terrain varies. And even a little local history as you skirt the Pitcairn House. My go to when I don’t want to drive far to get away.
