Hiked this 12/6. Well more walked then hiked. Very easy and straightforward trail with only a slight incline (read hill) about halfway in. I saw a few bikers, runners and walkers but I was probably the only hiker carrying a backpack. I guess I’m spoiled being from California. 90 percent of the trail is along the creek which provided a lot of pretty foliage despite the cold and a few spots to wander off that take you directly down to the creek. You could even filter water if people do that in PA haha. I gave this 3 stars because it reminded me of walking the dogs in the neighborhood but with a creek so take that for what it is. Still a good 9 mile scenic workout for a cold Sunday morning. PS. The car parked next to me had its window smashed in so I guess be careful for whatever the outcome of that was!
Awesome clean straight path with just enough inclinations. Definitely will be back again and again and again!
Nice easy hike ... followed the trail map that took me off the paved path in the beginning. Really wish I hadn't. I ended up in a sea of thorns, fell, and ended up turning around. Stay on the pavement. Otherwise, saw multiple deer, a hawk, and two cats on two different part of the trails! Definitely want to come back and explore more.
beautiful warm fall evening. trails were clean and dry. Vlad and I talked and listened to football.
Super nice, open park with plenty of room for dogs to pass by or get in the river.
there are 3 basic trails. 2 of the 3 are easy to find and follow. first is an asphalt path that follows the creek. lots of traffic and best for walking, biking and jogging. the second is the bridal path. Wide, washed out on the hills and rocky. Good trail for horse back, hiking and difficult trail running along with beginner mountain biking. the third are tight twisty single track that is more difficult to ride, find and follow. Best to go with someone who knows them. Lots of fun and about 15 - 20 miles round trip.
Trail runs along the creek and is mostly paved with some horse trails and sections to go off trail.
Decent relatively flat hike with side trail opportunities and continuous creek views/access. West side of the trail is the paved pathway, lots of bike and walking traffic, stroller and kid friendly, the east side is traditional trail, muddy and buggy in some areas but decent. Cleared out from Isais damage. Good accessible trail.
Very nice easy to moderate trail but to much down trees on the way other than that very fun.
