9/20/20. Super nice, easy walking or biking trail. The tunnel was definitely the highlight. Nice and cool temperature. It was lightly trafficked while I was there on a Sunday late afternoon. My dog was with me. we saw two deer, groundhogs. Was very peaceful.

This is a nice, short, little trail. It's mostly shaded through the woods so even on a hot day biking is easily doable. The trail is very well maintained and clear of debris. The small shale made it really easy to ride on. I'd like to return to walk the trail. There are benches along the way for relaxing and enjoying the view.

Easy level trail. Always lots of ticks so stay on the trail and if you bring a dog always check for ticks. Good for bike rides as well.

I enjoyed this trail. Good for biking or walking; it provides scenic views. Not a difficult trail, but long — bring water and a snack.

First to Review

Very well kept rail trail with beautiful views and benches along the way. Can be hiked as an out and back from South Fork/Ehrenfeld or connects with the Staple Bend Tunnel Trail and lower Path of the Flood Trail for a longer hike/ride to Franklin (Johnstown).
