Well maintained shale path, less like a “hike” in my opinion. We went in the summer so it was shaded by the trees and leaves about 90% of the time. There were not really any views or lookouts, but maybe because of the fully grown in trees and greenery during this time of year.

This is a nice, short, little trail. It's mostly shaded through the woods so even on a hot day biking is easily doable. The trail is very well maintained and clear of debris. The small shale made it really easy to ride on. I'd like to return to walk the trail. There are benches along the way for relaxing and enjoying the view.

Easy level trail. Always lots of ticks so stay on the trail and if you bring a dog always check for ticks. Good for bike rides as well.

I enjoyed this trail. Good for biking or walking; it provides scenic views. Not a difficult trail, but long — bring water and a snack.

Easy walk, did it in the snow. The tunnel is definitely a high light of this trail

Very maintained trail ! Very easy walking out and back and very nice views. If you want a nice path for riding bikes from south fork to mineral point.

Very well kept rail trail with beautiful views and benches along the way. Can be hiked as an out and back from South Fork/Ehrenfeld or connects with the Staple Bend Tunnel Trail and lower Path of the Flood Trail for a longer hike/ride to Franklin (Johnstown).
