Attempted the 20 mile loop but ran out of day light, you will probably need 8-9 hours to complete the full 20 miles.
Fun trail. Kind of rocky but that adds to it. Just be careful when you’re hiking. Dog friendly and scenic.
Nice alternative to part of a forbidden Drive. Lots of tree fall.
Only did a portion of the trail. Nice scenery and not all gravel road which is nice.
First time taking my son on the trail and it was absolutely a day I will never forget.
What I love about "The Wiss" is how you could go there more than once and never hike the same trail! Thus far, I've completed the east side of the Wiss starting from Blue Bell to the covered bridge. You got elevation, tiny waterfalls and a beautiful view of the river. Great trail for any beginner hiker. It's also hard to get truly lost.
