Moderately strenuous at the beginning and then the trail turns into a larger walking path. Only found one area that was slightly muddy.

Nice set of trails that you can combine into whatever length you want to hike.

This was a beautiful hike. Mostly uphill during the first half. Some very steep. The 2nd half is downhill and winds along a babbling broke that’s very peaceful. You could choose to walk down a gravel road but I found the trail meandering along the brook to be more fun. The dog loved it too. I found it to be 4 miles.

This park has a great forest setting throughout all the trails. Most of this loop is on wide gravel path and would consider easy except for the ascent (though seems long, is very gradual). If you're looking for more of a narrow path hike away from the usual, would suggest some of the other trails (Kohout Trail, Ridge Trail, Watershed Trail along the stream). The Rock Outcrop is just that...a large rock, but no view at all as there is too much tree coverage. Could possibly see a little through the trees in the winter, but would doubt it. Overall, the park provides a nice variety of interconnecting trails with some elevation which you can make into various loops.

This is a beautiful forest for a hike. Hard to imagine that the land had been stripped of it's trees and only a single white pine, the "Inspiration Pine" remained. More than 500,000 trees were planted where we now have the privilege to be "inspired."

Awesome trail! Took us about 2 hours. Only complaint is that we got off track due to the confusing signs at the intersections that didn't seem to match up with the map. Definitely needed that map, since there are quite a few trails, but the map provided at the park wasn't as helpful as it could've been. Other than kind of getting lost (that's part of the fun, right?), it was a great hike! :)

We drove 45 minutes to experience the Nolde Mansion and Forest. Our 3 mile hike was 95 % shaded. The trails are well cared for despite significant rain. Difficultly is definitely moderate.

The trail is buggy with some muddy areas today due to recent rain and humidity. Some areas are a little overgrown. Overall an excellent trail and workout.

Just magical. I really like this because there are many different trails depending on your level of difficulty. You can stick to the wide gravel trail that is uphill quite a bit, or go low on the watershed trail and cross water on footbridges and explore rocks. We spend lots of time here and all different kinds of weather because it is so beautiful and magical! I hike it with a seven and three year old with ease.
